Circular procurement extends beyond ‘traditional’ sustainable procurement by helping to develop circular business models within the supply chain. It uses purchasing power to achieve maximum positive ecological, social, and economic impact throughout the life span of products and services.

This webinar will introduce the concept of circular procurement, highlighting the value of using and reusing the materials we already have, from construction, to clothing to food waste, maximising their value and potentially not only saving Scottish businesses at least £3billion a year, but also significantly cutting our emissions by reducing imports and making best use of our renewable energy.

We will hear from speakers whose expertise spans across both the public and private sector, highlighting opportunities, different approaches and viewpoints on implementing circular models within the field of procurement.
